These first few days after moving into our new homestead have been both exciting and stressful. We have so many ideas, hopes and dreams. Where do we start?

This week, I am cleaning the home, cleaning the small barn and wandering the property. I want to get an idea of what is out here. Unpacking boxes while finding small things that were left behind by the previous owners. Where does everything go?

It is fall already. Freezing overnights with rain and some snow during the day. It is too late to plant any veggies, but I will be ready for the spring.

Goals for the season: 1) clean out and repair the chicken coop. 2) repair the fence around the chicken coop. 3) stake out and clear area for the green house. 4) build a moveable goat shelter.
